I have the utmost respect for Juan Cole and his blog. Today, he had a post that I wanted to make a small comment on, because I don’t think it gives either Sistani or Gandhi the credit each one deserves. 34! 34! I thought it was 18-25, figured I would escape the draft with a college deferment.
I have such a bad feeling that if Bush is reelected, the draft will come. I think Kerry is less likely to do it since he actually served in a draft war….insh’Allah you won’t go!
