Good for the Iraqis. Newsday.com is reporting that an estimated 1000 people have marched through the streets of Najaf urging Sadr and his army to leave town. 34! 34! I thought it was 18-25, figured I would escape the draft with a college deferment.
I have such a bad feeling that if Bush is reelected, the draft will come. I think Kerry is less likely to do it since he actually served in a draft war….insh’Allah you won’t go!
