You are voting for the people around him. I think it’s great that some people think they can have a beer with Bush or his cabinet. I could probably be friends with some of those people myself, if it wasn’t for the last 3.5 years. But to be honest, I don’t want any of my current friends as POTUS (sorry guys and gals). They are my friends because they are like me in at least certain respects. I want the POTUS to be better than me, to inspire me, to inspire the country, to make us better than we are. The current administration has not done that.

Great point! This election isn’t only about getting Bush out of the Whitehouse, it’s also about getting Cheney, Rumsfeld, Ashcroft, Wolfowitz and Rice out.
