Lieberman Hates Jews?
Old news, but apparently Joe Lieberman (More R than not – Conn.) is going to speak at John Hagee’s Christians United for Israel conference. Just so you know Hagee said “Jews have dead souls.” I suppose politics does really trump religion. At least the Israelis recognize the absurdity of Lieberman’s position. Judaism

Swell. I head the other way when the Tablighi Jamaat is involved. I’m scheduled to return to Delhi in January, and I plan to visit the Nizamuddin area this time. As you know, Nizamuddin is an important place for Sufism in India. The Tablighi occupy a big, concrete building in the same area.

I don’t know how I missed the Tabligh reference! That’s what I get for reading it at 2AM. I agree, they are bad news, but I wonder if the center will be big enough for all orgs to get a space. If it is, and not it’s not just the Tabligh, it might be interesting to see what comes of it. Nothing brings a little friction like living together.
