Look at this picture. I know the bloggers say “enough said,” and at first blush I agree. But what’s the source? When was this taken? Have there been an repercussions? We need more information. Can anyone help out?

So the Boykin story gets better and better. [See You Can Call Me Satan.] First he apologized, but the Pentagon had to censor his apology. When you read what was left in, you wonder how bad the stuff was that was edited. CNN has the story. I have to admit I’m surprised, CNN usually isn’t this critical of anyone, especially not the powers in the Bush administration. Seriously though, I think Cole could have made his point without the reference to the Taliban and Islamists — seems gratuitous to me. Like we don’t have enough trouble. Nice, acceptable secular examples would have sufficed.
Don’t misunderstand me — I think the Congress egregiously overreached here and I’ve already sent email to the two Democratic congressmen In Maryland that voted in favor of this travesty (both from perfectly safe seats, but what the hey!).
