The active participation of Police Commissioner Kelly and his Public Affairs Officer Paul Browne in the creation and promotion of an anti-Muslim film has led Muslim New Yorkers to deep disappointment, skepticism and mistrust. They are now calling for the two to resign.

Lt. General Boykin is back in the news (1, 2). This time, the New York Times is calling him an embarrassment. Glad to hear that major papers are thinking this might not be right guy to be interrogating non-Christians, or to be involved in the War on Terror[ism] in any way. Social Justice

This issue is about social justice. Every Muslim in the US should be stepping up and saying until the community is fed, until parents can spend time with their family instead of working 20 hours a day for necessities, until the sick are cared for, until hope is only an aspiration and not a refuge for the desperate, until … Until then we cannot be bought with cheap talk of family values.
