Neither. I can draw no reasonable inference from the presence or absence of hijab concerning a woman’s modesty, her love for God, or her politics.
Much more interesting than the question for me were the responses to the question found on the link above. I encourage everyone to take a look at them and think about what you think. The most interesting part for me is the expression of an evangelical instinct, the calling to the Gospel if you will, which I do feel (rightly or wrongly) as a result of my own faith.
