Susan Carland was listed on the “500 Most Influential Muslims in the World” in 2009, and was also named in 2009 as one of the international “Muslim Leaders of Tomorrow” by the U.N. Alliance of Civilisations and the ASMA Society. She is a lecturer in the School of Political and Social Inquiry at Monash University, and was Co-Creator and panelist on the critically-acclaimed Australian national network television program “Salam Cafe”, a Muslim comedy panel and sketch show.
