Not sure what it means for the Gitmo prisoners, but it seems to be a step in the right direction. DOJ says it is longer using unitary executive theory to imprison people under the “Enemy Combatant” label.

A small majority (53 percent) of Americans say that today the country is safer from terrorism than it was prior to the September 11th attacks. In contrast, nearly 8-in-10 say that Americans today have less personal freedom and nearly 7-in-10 say that America is less respected in the world today than before the terrorist attacks.

I don’t have to worry about Canada this year
h/t David at Joho This is the first time in a long time when I haven’t even had to joke about moving to Canada. I did start thinking, where do Republicans threaten to move to? There really is no country that repressive, except for Saudi Arabia, and I don’t think they’d go there because of all the colored people.
