<sarcasm>I’m glad we have someone on the USIP who is doing real work with Muslims in the US. Putting his life on the line by going to meet with Muslim who have no greater desire than to skewer him, put on some tahini, and serve him with hummus for a good old fashioned iftaar. </sarcasm>

[I’ve jumped a head to part 3 since several commentors have asked about translations and secondary material.] I’ve done one post already on the vagaries of Qur’anic Arabic.
