Ismail no longer serves on the Master Jury or Steering Committee of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture, but in the 2004 cycle, he represented the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, which one an Award. As the Steering Committee and Master Jury changes each three year cycle, there is nothing stopping Ismail from serving again.
