December 25 marks the day we commonly celebrate the birth of Prophet Isa (a.s.), known in English as Jesus. A democratic education
Myself, and several other members of the islamicate Collective, have been getting lots of requests for books. Specifically, if we were choose a selection of books to represent the highest ideals of liberal democracy, what would they be? In addition, what are some of the key texts representing the richness of Islamic thought that we would include. The work has been proposed for both Iraq and Afghanistan. We’re innocent
It looks like Captain Yee will not be charged with anything. The fifth column brush that was getting ready to paint the entire Muslim community should not be rinsed and ready to be put away. However, if you read the article, you know it’s just poised over the canvas. The choice to not prosecute Yee was not based on the lack of evidence of his guilt, but because it would be a national security risk to reveal the evidence, so they are just going to put him back on active duty.
