PFBC – Thanks

Well, the first Progressive Faith Blog Con is over. Unfortunately I couldn’t make the last day, but the reports are good. I want to thank the good organizers of the Con for making it a success. The group was a large enough size that it felt like we could do something real, but small enough to be intimate. It was diverse enough to avoid us sounding like an echo chamber, but respectful enough to always have something in common. Event: Council for the Advancement of Muslim Professionals Conference

Muslim professionals from across the US and Canada will come together in Plainsboro, New Jersey (near Princeton) on May 2nd, 2009 to attend the 3rd Annual Leadership Summit, hosted by the Council for the Advancement of Muslim Professionals (CAMP). This year’s Summit is entitled “Leading in a Changing Landscape.” The event is an all‐day conference for Muslim Professionals from varied professional backgrounds – private, public and non‐profit. As you all know, next weekend is the Progressive Faith Blog Con. I’ll be there, and I hope to you meet you there as well. This weekend, I’m in Copenhagen for a conference called Muslim Leaders of Tomorrow (although they don’t have a website today). The press release is here.
